Cocoa Brownies (Adapted from Betty Crocker)
½ c. butter ½ c. cocoa
1 c. sugar ½ t. baking powder
2 eggs ½ t. salt
1 t. vanilla ½ c. nuts (optional)
2/3 c. flour
1 c Ghiradelli 60% cocoa chips
(can use milk chocolate instead for lighter flavor.)
Oven 350. Mix well. I usually add the chocolate chips but not the nuts. Pour in greased 8”x8” pan. (Use 9”x13” pan for double recipe.) Bake about 30 minutes. May frost when cool.
