Sugar Cookies

1 c. powdered sugar

1 c. granulated sugar

1 c. butter 1 c. oil

2 eggs 1 t. vanilla

1 t. salt 1 t. cream of tartar

1 t. soda

4 c. + 4 heaping teaspoons flour

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix will. Roll into balls and flatten the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 or 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Makes approximately 9 dozen.
