Chocolate Mousse

 

2 c. cream

6 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped

¼ c. confectioner’s sugar

1 t. vanilla and/or desired liqueur

 

Heat 1/2 c. cream to simmer.  Stir in chocolate and cover.  Set aside for 5 min.  Stir until smooth.  In another bowl whip 1 ½ c. cream and sugar until soft peaks form.  Fold vanilla (or other flavoring) into chocolate. Fold whipped cream with chocolate mixture. Chill for at least 2 hours.
