Fruit Cocktail Cake

 

2 c. flour                        1¾ c. sugar

2 t. soda                       1 t. salt

½ t. nutmeg                   ½ t. cinnamon

 

Put above ingredients in bowl and mix.  Add:

 

1 16 oz. can fruit cocktail, including juice/syrup

1 t. lemon extract

 

Mix and pour into greased 13”x9” pan.

Sprinkle top with ¼ c. brown sugar and ½ c. chopped pecans.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes.
