Mango Lime Sorbet

 

3 large ripe mangos

1 c water                       3/4 c. sugar

grated zest of 1 lime      juice of 1 lime (about 2 T)

 

(I also added grated zest from a lemon & orange

 because it happened to be available.)

 

Peel, pit and cube the mangos and freeze.

Heat the water to boiling; stir in sugar until dissolved.  Let cool. Stir in lime juice and zest. Chill.

 

In a food processor, process the mangos and the chilled syrup. Either serve immediately, or place in freezer.
